Hi all,

The Infoway Interoperability Team is very excited to announce two new CA Core+ releases, now available:

For Release: CA Core+ v0.1.0 DFT
This release incorporates your valuable and insightful feedback on the CA Core+ v0.1.0 DFT-Ballot release, resulting in updated FHIR profiles and additional narrative content to help readers better understand mapping logic and the relationship between CA Core+ and other specifications.

For Ballot: CA Core+ v0.2.0 DFT-Ballot
This ballot release introduces five new FHIR profiles -- AllergyIntolerance, Condition, Immunization, Medication, MedicationRequest -- mapped from the on-going work on the pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework.

Ballot Timelines
Ballot release available for review: March 27, 2024
Ballot submission period (i.e., feedback on the specification): April 26 – May 27, 2024*
* With option to extend the period for feedback on these profiles if necessary

Balloting Process
All collaborators are invited to review and submit comments on this specification. Infoway will follow the same balloting process as previously presented , and we look forward to your feedback, questions, and comments for CA Core+ v0.2.0 DFT ballot release. Please visit the release page for access to the specification and details on how to provide feedback.

The CA Core+ is the expression of the pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework (p-CHDCF) in FHIR Profiles. Because the p-CHDCF is still undergoing collaborative development and is shaped by the inputs from our Canadian Communities, this draft CA Core+ continues to evolve.

A webinar will be announced in the near future, providing guidance on how to access and review the CA Core+ v0.2.0 specification, along with a reminder of the key dates for the ballot.

We look forward to your participation!
